A New Danger Sweeping Across America, By Hal Lindsey

October 31st, 2014
This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
While the threat of Ebola within the United States continues to dominate many of the headlines and much of the attention in the electronic media, there's another growing contagion that has me even more concerned.

It's sweeping across North America and it's far more dangerous than Ebola. It's radical Islam.

Last week in Canada, two recent converts to Islam killed two Canadian soldiers. One used his car, the other a gun. Then the second one attacked the Canadian Parliament building where he spewed gunfire inside the building before being shot dead by the Parliament's Sergeant-at-Arms.

The next day, another recent Muslim convert used a hatchet to attack three New York police officers posing for a picture on a public street.

Three teenaged girls from Colorado were intercepted in Germany attempting to make their way to Syria to join the jihad.

Another young lady from Colorado recently pled guilty to charges of conspiring to help terrorists in Syria. In fact, she had fallen in love with a jihadist online and intended to join him in Syria.

Some members of the mainstream media and government are trying to say that the terrorist events in Canada and the U.S. are not important because A) they're "lone wolf" attacks, not coordinated by any terrorist organization, and B) the assailants had been in trouble with the law before converting to Islam.

I think that makes them even more disturbing. First, the fact that they're "lone wolf" attacks only confirms the size and scope of the challenge. It's more subversive and dangerous than if they were "card-carrying" members of an organization. This means they harbor jihad in their hearts and heads until they're ready to unleash an attack. That makes it impossible for them to be identified by the authorities. It's much easier for them to fall through the cracks or operate under the radar.

As to being in trouble with the law before conversion, that's part of the plan. Radical Muslims actively recruit people whose lives seem hopeless or who are thoroughly disenchanted with the system.

Jihad is overwhelmingly attractive to those who love violence. That increasingly describes our culture. Have you seen any popular video games lately. Even their prime-time television ads are alarming. Today's culture not only teaches violence, it exalts it as a human ideal and great fun!

In fact, Muslims have used this love of violence to recruit angry young men around the world. One of their main recruiting tools has been to compare that aspect of Islam with the "peacefulness" of Christianity. Jesus said to "turn the other cheek." They proudly tell potential recruits that they do not believe in turning the other cheek. They believe in full bore retribution for every slight.

And don't make the mistake of assuming that Muslim jihadis are backwoods buffoons. Though their ideology is straight out of the seventh century (and that's exactly where Sharia law seeks to return societies), their social media skills are impressive. They are adept at using media portals such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to connect with millions of potential recruits around the globe.

And the images and language they use are slick and effective.

It doesn't help that our young people have diminished immunity to this "disease." Day by day, the capacity of our youth to resist this contagion is being systematically weakened. It's a bit like a spiritual chemotherapy. Those who are trying to rid our society of the restraints of Christianity are making our young increasingly vulnerable to the message of violent jihad.

And it's made even more dangerous and insidious by its subtlety. In fact, the message of "jihad" is being quietly preached in Ferguson, Missouri.

You will never hear about this in the mainstream media, but the forces of Islam are out in impressive numbers in Ferguson. And they're trying to subvert the "civil rights" issues of that conflict and refocus it into a hatred of Israel.

Yes, you read me right. There are more than a dozen major Islamic, Palestinian, and anti-Israel organizations that have converged on Ferguson in a coordinated attempt to co-opt those protests. They are seeking to equate the Israeli-Palestinian issue with the American civil rights movement. They want to foment the unrest by suggesting that African Americans are victims of the same "militaristic policing" tactics that they say the Palestinians face in Israel.

I have neither the time nor space to delve into the utter absurdity of those assertions and comparisons. Unfortunately, the distinctions will be lost on most Americans who aren't paying attention.

One of the hallmarks of the American civil rights movement has been its generally nonviolent nature. In fact, in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said, "Nonviolence is a powerful and just weapon. Indeed, it is a weapon unique in history, which cuts without wounding and ennobles the man who wields it."

The Muslims' attempts to equate their "struggle" -- which is universally characterized by inhuman, grotesque violence, beheadings, tortures, crucifixions, rapes, murders of all kinds, the subjugation of women, children, and minorities, and the destruction of even the most basic human rights -- with the nonviolent tradition of the American civil rights movement, implies that they equate Islam's exaltation of death and bondage with Judeo-Christianity's reverence for life and equality.

That is a lie straight from Satan himself. To pit the Koran against the Bible is to pit death against life.

Islam teaches that one can never be certain of his or her ultimate "salvation." It teaches that the ONLY way to know for certain that one is gaining paradise, is to die in an act of martyrdom for Allah. That's why so many of the terrorists involved in 9/11 were discovered to have spent time at strip clubs and in other sinful pursuits just prior to the attack. They were taught that this one deed (dying as a martyr for Allah while killing infidels) immediately and automatically outweighed every other bad deed or act they had committed in their entire lives.

That's what makes radical Islam (which is actually "fundamental" Islam) so dangerous. The threat of violent death means nothing to an enemy who welcomes that violent death -- if its received while killing enemies of Allah -- because he mistakenly believes it's his only certain ticket to paradise.

On the other hand, Jesus told us that only in Him we will find true life -- both here on earth and in eternity. In fact, He values EVERY person's life so highly that He sacrificed His own so that we could all be assured of life eternal with Him after our time on this earth.

That's the glaring difference between the claims of Mohammed and those of Jesus Christ. Jesus says that we can KNOW for a certainty that we will share eternity with Him in paradise. And all we have to do is BELIEVE that He is who He says He is; RECOGNIZE and CONFESS our sin; ACCEPT the free gift of pardon from that sin that He purchased for us by His death at Calvary; ACKNOWLEDGE that He is Lord; and FOLLOW Him with the power and help of His Holy Spirit.

The Gospel infinitely surpasses any man-made system of faith because Jesus is the only true life.

Please don't forget to vote on Tuesday, November 4. Ask God to guide you through this process and help you make the choices that will benefit our nation. Study the issues and the candidates. Learn what they believe and how they propose to vote on the issues that are important to you. Choose those candidates whose values most closely reflect the Bible's and your own.

Then, get out and vote. Take another registered voter with you. It only takes a few minutes, but it affects generations. Remember, elections have consequences. As a citizen -- and especially as a Christian -- it's your duty to vote!

God bless you for doing so, and God bless America!

America Then & Now

When I was young, we played outside without our parents knowing where we were until we showed up for supper. No one heard of children being taken and killed. We just never worried about our safety. Now, as a parent, you are afraid to let your children out of your sight for fear someone might snatch them away from you. Children are getting guns and going into schools and killing their school mates without any thought about life or death. You have the so called cowardly knock out game where young people sucker punch some older person or woman to see if they can knock them out with one punch. What has happened to America and the world and why has it happened.

We don't have to look very far to find the answer as to why this is happening. We have so many one parent households raising their children without the help of the other parent struggling to make ends meet. Divorce is an every day occurrence leaving one parent to raise the children. So we have children raising themselves because the parent is working. There is no discipline in the home or outside the home and children grow up believing they can do whatever feels good at the moment.

We have same sex marriages, abortion, and a society that doesn't want God involved. Well, this is the consequences of a godless society. Our country is in the tanks financially, corruption is an everyday thing in our government, we are not respected among other nations, and we ask "why?"

There is in Scripture the answers to our woes in America. Read Deuteronomy 28 where God tells us what will happen if we are obedient, and what will happen if we are disobedient. There are Blessings for obedience to God's Word,  and Curses for disobedience to God's Word. We need to pray that people will wake up and return to God before it's too late.

God Bless

When Good Enough Isn't Good Enough

If you are like a lot of people, you think you'll make it to heaven because you've been a good person. Maybe you've helped the poor, gave to charities, was always to work on time, etc. All of these are a good things in and of themselves, but, they aren't good enough to get you into heaven.
Ephesians; 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

There's no way you can ever be good enough, because your sin has separated you from a righteous God. The only way to get rid of that sin is through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. You must come to Jesus for forgiveness of sin.
1John; 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faith and just to forgive us our sins and to cease us from all unrighteousness.

God loves you and doesn't want you to perish, but He isn't going to force you to accept the free gift of eternal life. You must come to Jesus on your own free will to receive forgiveness. Don't put it off until another day. Today is the day for you to get right with God.

God Bless You

No Hidden Sin!

1John 1:5-6 This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while awe walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

If we are living a life with unconfessed sin, we are separated from God. Light and darkness cannot occupy the same place at the same time. John tells us here that if we are continuing to sin, and telling others that we have fellowship with God, we are lying and not telling the truth. Not only that, but this sin in our life is interfering with our fellowship with God and other Christians.

Maybe you justify it by saying "it's just a little sin that isn't affecting anyone." But that's not true as sin affects everyone. It is like a cancer that continually eats away at the believers life taking them further away from God and other believers.

The good news of the Gospel is that God is faithful in that if we confess that sin and turn away from it, He will forgive us that sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you are living a lie, confess it to God and ask for forgiveness. He'll restore that close fellowship you had with Him when you first believed.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I'm Thankful to God This Thanksgiving Day And Every Day

THIS WAS WRITTEN BY DR. DAVID R REAGAN
I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very blessed season of Thanksgiving!

During this Thanksgiving season are you counting your blessings? I hope so. We all need to be doing that. What do you consider to be your greatest blessing? Is it your health, your job, your family? What about spiritual blessings? Are you counting them? If so, what are they?

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year - a time of family, fellowship, and good food. I have many wonderful memories of family gatherings at Thanksgiving and I am sure you do, too. Personally, I believe that for a Christian every day of the year should be a day of thanksgiving. I have found over the years that a heart filled with thanksgiving is one of the best medicines for emotional and physical health.

Thankful for Material Blessings

I make it a point at least once a month if not more frequently to sit down and make a list of things in my prayer journal that I am thankful for. I sometimes spend as much as 30-45 minutes working on the list. And, in theprocess, I try to think about things that we tend to take for granted - things like pure water, electricity, air conditioning, a house to live in and a car to drive.

Did you know that 80% of all sickness in the world is attributable to unsafe drinking water? Did you know that if you keep food in a refrigerator, clothes in a closet, and sleep in a bed with a roof over your head, you are richer than 75% of the entire population of the world? Did you know that out of every 100 people in this world 18 struggle to live on less than one dollar a day and 53 struggle to live on two dollars a day?

We have so much to be thankful for in this country, and we tend to be so unthankful. We fret over the fact that we don't have a color TV set in every room, when most of the world lives without access to electricity. It's one of the reasons that I believe that every American teenager should be sent to live a couple of weeks in a third world country like Mexico just to see how most people in the world are involved in a daily struggle to merely survive. All of us in the United States should be living with an attitude of gratitude.

One of my favorite passages of Scripture is Psalm 100 which is labeled with a superscription that says, "A Psalm of Thanksgiving." It is the only Psalm that bears such a label. And it says in part, "Shout joyfully to the Lord all the Earth, serve the Lord with gladness. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise." That is the attitude we should live with, even in tough times when things are not going smoothly for us.

Thankful for Salvation

The thing we should be most grateful for is the salvation that Jesus provided for us through His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. What a glorious gift! And, it is precisely that - a gift. The Bible teaches very clearly that the forgiveness of our sins is something that cannot be earned. It is a free gift of God through faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Have you ever thought about the fact that salvation by grace through faith is one of the things that sets Christianity apart from all other religions?

Every other religion in the world teaches the satanic concept of salvation through good works. Christianity alone teaches that one cannot be saved by good works. Our only hope is the righteousness of Jesus which is applied to us when we put our faith in Him. Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church in Dallas has a wonderful way of putting it. He says, "Every religion in the world except Christianity is spelled 'D-O,' only Christianity is spelled 'D-O-N-E.'" In other words, Jesus did it all for us by sacrificing His perfect life for our sins.

Thankful for the Rapture

A second spiritual blessing I want to thank God for is one that is yet to take place. It is based upon a promise of God that can be found in John 14, 1 Corinthians 15, and 1 Thessalonians 4. It is called the Rapture of the Church. The apostle Paul describes the Rapture in detail in 1 Thessalonians 4 beginning with verse 13. When Paul finishes his explanation of it, he writes in verse 18, "Comfort one another with these words." The promise of the Rapture is supposed to be a source of greatcomfort to those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ.

Don't pass up this Thanksgiving season without accepting Jesus as your Savior. Remember to thank Him for His loving sacrifice on your behalf. Give praise for the great hope Jesus has given us, for we know that those who love Him will soon be gathered home to Heaven.

The Good News Of The Gospel

Jesus left His home in heaven to come to earth to take on humanity and be born of the virgin Mary.
Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
He lived a sinless life and thus was acceptable as the Sacrificial Lamb. He came to die and pay the price for the sins man and woman. He died on the cross and shed His blood for the remission of sin.
Matthew 27:35 The they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: "They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots."
He was buried in the tomb, and on the third day He rose from the grave.
Matthew 28:5-6 But an angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay.
He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father.
Mark 16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Now all who believe on Him shall be saved. Those who don't believe shall be condemned.
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Every one of us is a sinner and deserving of death, but Jesus paid the price for us on the cross. We can either accept His gift of eternal life, or we will pay the price for our sin our self. All you need to do is come to Jesus and ask Him for forgiveness and mean it in your heart, and He'll forgive you of your sins. Then when you die, you'll go to be with Him in heaven for eternity. If you refuse His gift of eternal life, when you die, you'll spend eternity in the lake of fire. The choice is yours! Put your faith in Jesus Christ today.
Romans 10:13 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

God Bless You!!

2 Different Judgments

Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Every one of us will one day be judged by God. For the believer it will be a judgment for rewards.
2Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Here the Lord will evaluate the believers life for the purpose of giving them eternal rewards. This is not to say you can earn your salvation by works but that you'll receive rewards for what you've done for the kingdom with what God has given you.

Revelation 20:11-15 The I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
This is the judgment of all the unbelievers who have never put their faith in Jesus Christ 'God the Son' for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus is offering you forgiveness of sins and all you have to do is believe on Him and ask for forgiveness. Jesus left heaven and died on the cross for the sins of the world. He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day thus defeating death. Now He stands at the door waiting for you to receive Him as your Lord and Savior. When you do, He'll save you from the grip that sin has in your life. He'll give you eternal life and you'll be a new creation in Christ.

Don't wait, time is short. Your eternal future depends on the decision you make while here on earth before you die.

God Bless You

Getting Closer

As we watch the days go by, we are getting closer to Christ return. The middle east is in turmoil, the worlds economies are crumbling and people are looking for answers. As a believer in Jesus Christ, I look to the Word of God for answers.
Living here in America, I never thought America would not be a major player in end times prophecy. I always thought America would keep God at the center of our policy making as well as international decision making. Over the last few decades our legal system has passed laws contrary to Gods  laws. Abortion, same sex marriage to name a couple. We are not supporting Israel like we should so why would we expect God to continue to bless our nation?
As Christians we are told to be looking for Jesus return, not for signs. We are to be able to discern the signs of the times but not necessarily to look for them. The signs are for the Jews to be looking for as we get closer to the time when Jesus will rule here on earth through the millennium. But before the millennium, the earth will go through a time of great tribulations as God pours out His wrath on earth against those who have chosen to reject Him. I believe the church will be raptured out of here before the 7 year Tribulation period begins.
I know there are many who think the church will go through the tribulations or at least part of it, but that's not how I read the Scriptures. In either case, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you know your eternal destination.
Believe on Jesus today while there is still time. Jesus left heaven to be born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross for the sins of the world. He was buried in a tomb, and after three days and nights He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. If you believe on Jesus as Lord and Savior, your sins will be forgiven, if you don't believe Jesus as Lord and Savior, you'll pay the price yourself and be separated from God for eternity in Hell. Do it today!
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus Paid It All.

Jesus paid the price for our sin!
The Bible tells us that the price for our sin has already been paid for when Jesus died for the sin of the world. The message is simple yet people have tried to make it difficult. Over the years, man has added tradition to the message and put more burden on people wanting to accept Jesus. Just before Jesus died, He said "it is finished." Nothing more needs to be done, He has paid it in full.
The message is simple! John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. We just need to believe in Him for our salvation. It's not just head knowledge but a change of heart. Jesus told us "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through Me." It's not hard to be saved, it's just submitting your life to Jesus and asking Him for forgiveness. We are saved by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it's the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Jesus did it all completely at the cross. All we need to do is accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
No matter what you may have been told, you can't work your way into heaven or be good enough. Jesus paid it all!! If you haven't given your life to Jesus, do it now. Make Jesus Lord of your life today and then tell your family and friends. Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
DO IT TODAY !!!!

God Bless You!

Something To Think About.

Deuteronomy 11:22  "For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him—
Deuteronomy 11:23  then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves.

It seems to me that since America started turning their back on God, and living like heathens, we haven't been able to win a decisive victory in any of our recent wars. I can't prove this other than looking back in the Old Testament when Israel wasn't obeying God. They would go out to battle and then turn and run because they couldn't stand against their enemy. God wasn't with them. They would cry out to God and He would point out some sin in their midst. When they removed the sin, they would have victory against their enemies because God was with them again.

When we were a nation that prayed to God and mostly obeyed Him, we were able to defeat our enemies. Not so anymore. We have the bravest soldiers and the most powerful weapons, but we don't have a heart for God as a nation. This pretty much started in the 60's when our nation decided we didn't need God anymore and started pushing Him out of America. If our nation doesn't repent and turn back to God, I don't see any hope for our future as a world power. "No God, No Nation!!" Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord! We need to take that to heart and pray for God's blessings again.

God Bless You!

A Tucson, Arizona Tragedy!

The tragedy this past weekend in Tucson, Arizona is a grim reminder that we live in a fallen world. This young killer took the lives of at least six people including a 9 year old girl and five others. He also wounded many and has totally turned up side down the lives of many families. This senseless killing has affected our nation and everyone is looking for answers. They will never know what went through this killers mind that brought him to this point. I heard many accusations being brought forward but no one has pointed to the real reason these things happen in our world.

The real reason is that we live in a fallen world brought on by mans SIN. When God created this world it was perfect and without pain and suffering. But when Adam sinned, death, pain, and anguish came into our perfect world and corrupted it. This corruption has continued ever since as we witness on a daily basis. This corruption will continue until Jesus creates a new heaven and earth. We need to pray for the families who have been affected by this tragedy as well as for our country. As we get closer to Jesus return, things are going to go from bad to worse. Don't wait until it is too late to give your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You don't want to be left behind when Jesus takes His church out of here.
Romans; 10: 9-10
(that is you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)

God Bless You!

Jesus The True Shepherd!

John;10:4
And when he brings out his sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Jesus use this illustration when addressing the Jewish leaders. He told them that He is the true Shepherd and that His sheep know His voice and they won't follow a stranger because they don't know his voice. We are the sheep of His pasture if we truly belong to Him. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior you should be able to determine His voice from that of the false teachers. How can you be sure to know His voice? Are you spending time in prayer talking to Him? Do you spend time in the Word every day? If you do, then you should be in tune to know Jesus voice from that of the enemy.

Jesus warns us that in the end times, there will be many false teachers. We are to discern truth from the lie. The only way you'll know for certain what's true and what's not is to be studying His Word every day. You need to know who Jesus is so you aren't deceived when the enemy comes claiming to have the truth. Spend time in the Word every day so you really get to know who Jesus is, and then you'll know it's Him when He calls His sheep.

God Bless You!

Are You Ready?

Matthew; 25:13
"Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
Many people through the ages have tried to predict when Jesus would return only to be mistaken. Jesus told the disciples that no one knows the hour except the Father who is in Heaven. So we are instructed to be ready at all times because we just don't know when Jesus will return. We are told that it will be just like it was before the flood.
Matthew; 24:38-39
For as the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
They were just living their lives without any concern. Noah tried to warn them but they refused to heed the warning. Not so much unlike today!

As believers, we are to be ready at all times. Are you ready? You can be ready, all you have to do is ask Jesus for forgiveness of your sins and invite Him into your heart as Lord and Savior. Jesus has already paid the price for your and my sins when He died on the cross. Payment was paid in full. He paid the price of sin which is death, and now you need to do your part. It's a free gift from God. You can't earn it by good works or anything else. The pardon is there for the taking, but you must accept it.  Just pray and be sincere about wanting Jesus to forgive you and save you.

No matter what you may have been taught, there is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures point this out in many places so don't be deceived by false teachers.
Acts;4:12
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

God Bless You!

50 Years Of Destructive Decisions!

Isaiah; 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The fourth woe condemned the reversal of morality which dominated the nation. They utterly confused all moral distinction. Let's go back to the late sixties. This is when America started through the sexual revolution. Sex within the marriage was no longer the norm. God has created sex and He said it is to be within the marriage between a husband and wife. So here is one place where we have gone against God's Command.

No-fault divorce! In the seventies was when this policy was implemented. When a couple didn't find answers to their problems within the marriage, it was no longer a problem to dissolve the marriage. As a result of this policy, divorces became the norm. It is very hard to find someone who hasn't been divorced anymore. God tells us that the two will become one flesh, but we have gone against what God had created.

Abortion! Roe vs Wade instituted anytime abortion for any reason. Since this went into effect in America, we have killed tens of millions of innocent lives (babies). God gives life and we killing them. This is such a huge disgrace for America. How can we as a nation expect God to bless us when we are killing innocent babies. Disobeying God's Commands.

Homosexuality and Same Sex Marriages! Here is another out right disobedience to God. God condemns homosexuality in all forms and we have written laws to protect it as well as encourage it.  In our schools the children are being taught that it is an alternate lifestyle. That is a big lie coming from satan. God says it's an abomination to Him. Disobedience to God's Command.

Separation Of Church And State! The beginning of forcing God Out Of America. As a nation, we have not only been disobedient to God our creator, but we are doing everything to get rid of Him in all public facilities and Gov offices. Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian belief. We were prospering thanks to Gods' blessings in America. Everything we were involved in turn out great for our nation because we were doing our best to obey Gods commands. When this nation turned it's back on God, things started to deteriorate.

There's still hope for our nation, but not without God as the central focus. If we want our nation to continue, we had better start praying for forgiveness and then being obedient to God.

Pharisees And The Law!

Mark; 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
Jesus had gone to Levi's house to eat and there were tax collectors and sinners there also. They were just having dinner when some scribes and Pharisees saw them eating. They confronted His disciples and ask why Jesus was eating with sinners and tax collectors? The Pharisees were the religious elite dealt with legal matters pertaining to the law. They so esteemed the "letter" of the law of Moses (more so than the "spirit" of the law), and so esteemed the oral traditions that were said to have sprung from the law, that they developed strict applications of the law for everyday life. When Jesus heard them comment about Him eating with sinners, He corrected them and told them He came to save the unrighteous. Maybe you don't think you are unrighteous, but the Scriptures say that none are righteous no not one. Everyone of us is a sinner and thus unrighteous. When you repent of your sins and ask Jesus into your life, He washes you clean of all unrighteousness. He is the only way to be saved from your sins and inherit eternal life. Eternal life is in Jesus and no one else. If you are putting your faith in anyone besides Jesus, you are not going to spend eternity with God but will spend it in the Lake of Fire.

God can save you but you must come to Him for forgiveness of sins. The penalty of sin is death  and separation from God through all of eternity. Eternal life is the free gift from God through Jesus Christ and Him only. You must repent and come to Him to get that gift. He is waiting for you to come but the decision is yours to make.
John'3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Are You Wasting Your Time?

Matthew; 7:6 (Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.)
Now what is being said here? When you are witnessing, you must make a judgment call. Is this person open to hearing the truth from God's Word or do they just want to be argumentative. Under Mosaic Law, dogs and swine are unclean animals. Here this refers to wicked people. So what are we to do when we encounter these type of people?

When we meet people who treat God's truths with contempt and all they want to do is be abusive and or violent, we are not under any obligation to continue to share the gospel with them. Now this does require some spiritual discernment and we need to ask God for wisdom when dealing with this person. Only God knows the heart of man so prayer will be in order. After you have shared the gospel with this person and they just want to blaspheme the Word of God, then it would appear you are wasting your time with them. What you have told them about God, they then become responsible themselves with what they know.
2Peter; 2:21 (For it would have better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them.)

If you are spending time witnessing to a person who is obstinate, give them the gospel and move on to someone else. Spending to much time with argumentative people results in lost labor. Move on to the person who is ripe for the seed to be planted and having a heart that is open to hear the Word. We obey God by planting the Word and then God causes the growth.

God Bless You!

Eternal Life, Do You Know God?

If you were to ask someone what is eternal life, most likely they would tell you that it is spending eternity in heaven with God. That is true but Scriptures has much more to say about eternal life. As a result of Jesus work of redemption at the cross, God has given His Son authority over all mankind. This authority entitled Him to give eternal life to those whom the Father had given Him. God offers salvation to anyone who would receive Jesus Christ. There is no one who can not be saved by trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior. All souls will live eternally, but only those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior will spend it with Him. The rest will spend it in the Lake of Fire that was prepared for the devil and his demons.

John 17:3 ( And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. )
Eternal life is knowing God. How do we learn about God? We do it by studying His Word. Without know who God is and what He has done for you, you wouldn't know that eternal life was in Jesus the Son.
John; 3:16 (For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.)
It's not just about head knowledge of who Jesus is, it's about having a personal relationship with Him as your Lord and Savior. It's you realizing you're a sinner and in need of a Savior. Then you repent and tell Jesus you're sorry for your sins and ask Him to forgive you and save you. Tell Him you want Him to be Lord of your life.

Without Jesus, there is no eternal life!
1John; 5:11-12 (And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.)
John wrote these things so that those of us who believe in the Son of God, may know that we have eternal life. Also, that we may continue to believe in the Son of God. It's a continual abiding in Him and Him in us. Without Jesus, we can do nothing to save ourselves. He gave His life on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He is the only way to the Father.
John; 14:6 (Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.)
Give your life to Jesus today and have life abundantly.

God Bless You!

Do You Know God?

Do you know God? I don't mean that you know of God or that you know He exist. You may have gone to church since you were a child or been raised in  Christian family. Maybe you were sprinkled at birth or dedicated when you were a baby. Having said all of this, do you really know God in a personal way? Have you ever acknowledged to God that you are a sinner and you are in need of a Savior? God wants us to love Him as He loves us. He wants that personal relationship with you and wants you to become part of His family.

For you to have that relationship with God, you must have your sins washed away by the blood of Jesus. You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and be your Lord and Savior. Maybe you feel you have committed such horrible sins that you don't think God will forgive you.  Jesus tells us that all who come to Him, none will be cast away. The Bible says that Jesus died for the sins of the world and that means yours and mine. God will forgive you if you are sincere when you ask Him. You may still have to pay consequences for your sins here on earth, but you have the confidence that God has forgiven you completely.
Psalms;103:12 (As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.)

If you're walking around with the burden of sin weighing heavy on you, come to Jesus for forgiveness. When Jesus comes into your life, you become a new creation in Jesus. Your old man is done away with and you have a new nature. Yes, you still have a sin nature, but now you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you to give you the power over sin. You are no longer a slave to sin, you can say NO! Jesus loves you and wants to save you but you must come to Him. He won't force you to come, it must be you acting upon the calling from the Holy Spirit. Don't say no to God anymore, come to Jesus today.

God Bless You!

Why Are American School Children falling Behind World?

I heard in the news this morning that American school children are falling behind all of the civilized worlds school children. They gave their solution blaming it on everything except the fact that America has allowed a few psychologist to tell them how they should raise their children. I have a different solution to the problem that is drastically different from theirs. We should follow Gods commands on raising them seeing as how He is the creator of all human life. Who would know better on how we should raise our children that God?
Proverbs;22:15 (Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him.)

Moral corruption of the family unit is a major problem. Satan has beat down the institution of marriage that God instituted at the beginning. How corrupt is it? We have legalized abortion which is killing a human life. We have legalized same sex marriage which is absolutely against Gods laws. We have made sexual intercourse as though everyone married or not should be doing it. . We have put it into a woman's minds that they are not complete unless they have some high paying job outside the home. Now we have children who are basically raising themselves. Children are not learning from their parents but instead are learning from society which says "if it feels good do it."

We took discipline away from the parents, the schools and the legal system. Now we wonder why we are having unruly, ruthless children. Parents have quit going to church and their children are not learning about God and His laws for living. A very small percentage of American families go to church on a regular basis. Our children are not learning how to live a productive life that pleasing to God..
Proverbs;22:6 (Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.)

So what or who is the answer? God is the answer! Our society is a mess because of our neglect to obey God and His ordinances. God told Israel that if they would just obey Him, things would go better for them. They refused to obey as we have and we are suffering the consequences of being disobedient. Our children are suffering because of OUR disobedience to God. We need to repent and ask for forgiveness and return to God. It's that simple and each one of us must do their part or we are doomed to destruction as a family and a country.

God Bless You!
