God Gave Them Up To Uncleaness!

When we consistently abandon God, He will abandon us. If we keep telling God that we don't care what He wants and commands us to do, He will give us up to our sinful ways by removing His restraint and allowing our sin to run it's inevitable course. In other words we will pay the penalty for our sinful choices and it can be a very painful consequence, even ending in early death. There are many places in the Bible which speak of people abandoning God and in return of Him abandoning them.
Judges; 10:13
(Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods. Therefore I will deliver you no more.)
2Chronicles; 15:2
(And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.)

We are witnessing this more and more everyday in our country as well as in the world. God gave us commandments to obey, because He loved us and knew what was best for our life. He wants us to be able to enjoy life, but to do it without sinning. God knows the past, the present, and the future and He knows what happens when we disobey Him. When we decide to serve ourselves instead of the living God, He gives us up to our vile passions.
Romans; 1:24-27
(Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lust of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.)

So when we go against what God has ordained for life, we suffer the consequences for our actions. God wants what is best for us, and if we obey His commands He won't abandon us. One of the promises in the Scriptures is this:
James; 4:7
(Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.)
Submit to God, resist the devil. Seems easy enough if we will just do it. God loves us and we must never forget it.
James; 4:10
(Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.)

God Bless You!
