Standing Up For The Truth!

Miss California, Carrie Prejean stood up for her beliefs during the Miss USA contest and lost her chance at winning. She was asked where she stood on same sex marriage and she told them she stood for marriage between a man and a woman. Well she lost, and some say that her answer cost her the crown. She was later slandered unmercifully by the same judge on his blog. He degraded her just because she didn't believe in same sex marriage as he believes. He said her answer isn't what cost her the crown and also said her answer wasn't in line with the popular view of marriage in America. I don't believe this is the popular belief in America and most people still believe in traditional marriage between a man and a woman.

What does God say about this in the Book of Leviticus?
Leviticus: 18:22
(You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.)
Now the world can twist it around anyway they want to, but God says "NO", don't do it. There are consequences for sin and one day everyone will answer for the life they have lived when they stand before a righteous judge. Everyone of us is a sinner and if you haven't come to Jesus for forgiveness you will pay the penalty for those sins.

This girl stood up for biblical truths and has been verbally attacked by some in the homosexual community. She has suffered abuse because she stood up for what God says is right. God warned us in His word that the world would hate us because it hated Him first. So when a person suffers abuse for being a Christian and standing up for the truths of God's word, we shouldn't be surprised.
1Peter; 3:14-16
(But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled." But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.)

God Bless You!
