Giving The Gift Of Knowledge About Jesus!

I always have liked to give gifts to other people. I don't know, it just makes me feel good that I can give. Sometimes I'm sure that it has made others feel uncomfortable because people just have a hard time accepting gifts from others. We send cards to people for every Holiday, why can't we do a little more and give someone something they need. It's not always easy to know what others are really in need of unless we talk to them when we are around them. If they are lost, they need a Savior.

If we just listen to them, we will pick up on what they need. Then we have to want to help. All of us have some sort of need. It could be clothes, food, a Savior from the storm of life. God tells us that we are to help our fellow brothers and sisters. I think that giving and loving go hand in hand. The Bible talks about this in the Book of John.

[God Gives To All Mankind]
John;3:16
(For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.)
So we see that God first loved us, and because He loved us so much and knew that we had no hope of ever getting to Heaven because of our sin, He sent Jesus down to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He loved us and then gave to us. They go hand in hand. There had to be blood shed for our sins, and Jesus loved us so much that He was willing to come down from Heaven to die for our sins. He gave His life for you and me. Christ loved and gave to us.
2Corinthians;5:21
(He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.)
We have seen the supreme form of loving and giving by our God. There was no greater gift than the gift of life in Jesus Christ.

If we love someone enough that we are willing to die for them, there is no greater love. We are instructed in God's Word to love each other. Now if we love each other, then when we see someone in need, we should be willing to give them what is needed. If we know where help is, then we need to tell them.
1John;3:17-18
(But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.)
It's so easy to say that someone else will supply what is needed. If all of us felt the same way, then those needs would not be supplied.

After Jesus went to the Father, He sent the Holy Spirit as a Helper to all of the saints. We are told that we are the temple of God and that the Holy Spirit is in us.
1Corinthians;3:16
(Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?)
So wee see that God loved us so much that after we were saved, He sent His spirit to dwell in us and teach us all truths. God ask of us is to love Him and obey Him. We are told to make disciples of all men and women.

[The Gift Of Love]
Eternal life is from God, and we must accept the testimony of God about the Son to have this eternal life. You can get eternal life in no other.
1John;5:11-12
(And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in the Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.)
1John;5:20
(And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.)
We have been given this knowledge about Jesus and we have been given life in Jesus. We can tell others where this gift is at. Give others the knowledge about eternal life in Jesus and you will have given them the best gift this season. They can't buy it or earn it, it is free from God.

God Bless You!
